I had read this and another SQ story (The Return) by Anamatics and was amazed. Different and polished. This story is unique in that there is a parallel storyline going on. The bulk of the action takes place in Storybrooke (with a twist Utena fans would get), and interwoven with a tale of a traveller and an exiled witch. Engrossing story with a sweet ending.

All of Fictorium’s works are great, but I really enjoyed this. It’s so intense as you watch Regina and Emma spiral out of control with their addictions (painkillers and alcohol respectively), but you also get a sense of hope that together they can somehow manage to overcome it.

Emma and Henry kidnaps Regina, taking her away from Storybrooke so she can begin a process of healing. Beautifully written, with a evocative and rich descriptive style that really draws you in and makes you experience what the characters are feeling during the emotional scenes.
